Why Sullivan's Island + a golf cart just works.

Our Sullivan’s Island fleet is made up of 2022–2025 luxury LSVs. Fully street-legal, equipped with seat belts, headlights, Bluetooth, USB charging, and backup cameras. You can drive at night. You can drive on any road with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less. Parking? Easy.

All carts are electric. Quieter than gas, cheaper to run, gentler on the island. We deliver to your door, hand off the keys, and pick up when you’re done.

Parking on Sullivan's. Small streets, easy spots

Sullivan’s was practically built for golf carts. Narrow residential streets, low speed limits, and short distances between everything. Park anywhere a car can park, plus plenty of half-spots cars can’t. Just watch for the seasonal residential-only zones.

Middle Street parking fills fast in summer evenings. Get there before 6pm for dinner.

Station 22 1/2 and Station 28 have the easiest cart parking for beach access.

No parking on the beach itself. Vehicles on sand are illegal islandwide.

Residential-only signs are enforced in season. Read the sign before you walk away.

Sullivan's cart rules in plain English

Drivers must be 21+ with a valid driver's license.

No exceptions. State law for LSV rentals.

35-mph roads only.

Covers all of Sullivan’s. Middle Street, all stations, the residential side streets.

Day or night driving is fine.

Our LSVs have full lights, signals, and street registration.

The Breach Inlet bridge is cart-legal. Cross any time.

The Middle Street dinner loop

Park near Station 22, walk Middle Street. Drinks at Dunleavy’s Pub, dinner at The Obstinate Daughter or Poe’s Tavern, ice cream at Beardcat’s. Everything’s two blocks from everything else.

Fort Moultrie + the lighthouse

≈ 20 min

Cruise down Middle to Fort Moultrie. Revolutionary War fort, ranger talks, free with the right pass. Loop back past the modernist black-and-white Sullivan’s Lighthouse on Atlantic.

Hometeam BBQ stop

≈ 10 min from anywhere
Post-beach refuel. Easy cart parking, classic Southern smoke, the kind of place where the staff remembers you by week two.

Hop over to IOP

≈ 12 min each way
Cross Breach Inlet, hit Front Beach for the Windjammer scene, or the County Park beach for a quieter day. Stay on Palm Blvd both ways.

Anywhere on the island, from Station 9 to Station 32 1/2. We cross over from our IOP base most days between 10am and 4pm. Delivery + pickup is a one-time $100 fee.

Can I drive to Isle of Palms?

Yes. The Breach Inlet bridge is on a 35-mph road, so our LSVs are legal across it. The full IOP / Sullivan’s loop is one of the most popular things our renters do.

Where do I park for dinner on Middle Street?

Any open cart-sized spot on the side streets off Middle (Stations 22, 23, 24) works. Get there before 6pm in summer; after that you’re hunting.

Can the cart go on the beach?

No. South Carolina state law prohibits vehicles on the beach. Drive to any station access, park, and walk over the dune.

Are there restrictions on bike paths or sidewalks?

Yes. Stay on roads only. Sidewalks, bike paths, and beach access paths are pedestrian-only.

Q05

Do I need a Sullivan's gate pass?

No. Sullivan’s is a public-access island. No gate, no pass.

Q06

How does delivery work?

$100 covers both directions. We deliver between 10am–4pm on your start date and pick up the same window on your end date.
